Murphy Commercial (MCRES), a full-service commercial real estate
brokerage, announced today the purchase of 7168 Columbia Gateway Drive by SuprTEK, Inc.
The 41,094 square foot Class A office building was sold by Exeter Property Group Inc for $6,780,510. Laurie Zuiderhof represented the buyer of the transaction, and Scott Dougherty with Exeter acted on behalf of the seller.
SuprTEK is an IT Engineering and Professional Services firm providing solutions to Federal, State and Local Government customers to assure their Mission Success through the delivery of exceptional solutions with proven results. SuprTEK was awarded the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Cybersecurity Network Operations (CyberNetOps) Design Deploy
Sustain (CNODDS) contract in late 2019. On this five-year, $173-million contract, the team will provide end-to-end CNODDS lifecycle services.
SuprTEK retained MCRE in April of 2019 to find a Maryland operations site as headquarters for more than 180 staff and partners. Brandon Park – SuprTEK’s Chief Executive Officer – stated, “We look forward to continuously improving our support of DISA and DoD through the acquisition of this facility to function as our headquarters for DISA and related customers located in and around Ft. Meade. We thank
Laurie and her team for the market knowledge and efforts in the acquisition.”
“The acquisition was a strategic addition to their local presence,” said Zuiderhof. “Columbia is a market with typically high barriers to entry for owner occupancy and I was pleased to find a property that fits SuprTEK’s requirements so well. It’s a beautiful building and will serve the growth of SuprTEK Maryland operations.”
